Cherub

I have just finished the CHERUB series by Robert Muchamore and have got to say they are some of the best books i've ever read. Both boys and girls would enjoy these books. They're gripping, tense and exhilarating. I was thoroughly disappointed when i finished the 12th book but there is another series which i will be reading soon. I would recommend these books enormously. They are about an intelligence branch called CHERUB which recruits above average orphans to do mission as people never suspect children as being undercover spies. Read them now!!

Inkheart Review

                          

Today i am going to be reviewing an awesome book called inkheart by Cornelia Funke! It is the first book in the enticing trilogy. I love this book because it is very captivating and it leaves you hanging on every word. It is very unpredictable and when your reading it you really want to know what happens next! 

The Plot

Inkheart has an extremely unique storyline! It is about a man called Mo and his daughter Meggie. It begins with a description of their house and lives then, one night Meggie sees a figure from her bedroom window, standing in their garden almost engulfed in the darkness. This is when Meggie's and Mo's exciting but scary journey begins. They travel across the country to stay with a relative where they think they are safe.....but are they? Read Inkheart to find out, it's a brilliant story of love, loss and fear. The writer makes you feel empathy for the characters which makes you want to read on even more. I would highly recommend reading inkheart and the following books, inkspell and inkdeath which are also brilliant books!

 Model Misfit by Holly Smale  is out on 26th September 2013 and is the sequel to geek girl. I thought geek girl was a really unique book that enabled you to feel empathy to the character and left you on the edge of your seat, waiting to see what happened next. Geek girl is about a girl called Harriet who knows lots of stuff and only has one real friend, Natalie who's dream is being a model. What will happen when Harriet has the chance to walk the catwalk? Model Misfit continues this storyline and follows Harriet as she embarks on a journey to Japan. 

Diamond by Jacqueline Wilson. This is also released on 1st October 2013. It is sort of the 4th edition to Hetty Feather as Diamond meets Hetty in this story but it is told by Diamond, not Hetty. I really enjoyed the Hetty Feather series as i loved how many paths she could take and you did not not know which one she would choose as she was always taking different twists and turns.  As Jacqueline left it on a bit of a cliffhanger i am glad she has written Diamond so you can find out what happens next.

Wedding Belles by Sarah Webb is the 6th book in the ask amy green series. I have read all the ask amy green books so far and i loved them. Amy green has an aunt named Clover who has a job at a magazine (the Goss) as an agony aunt. Amy helps clover answer the many questions from the readers that she receives. She also has to juggle with a variety of dilemmas in her own life from boyfriend troubles to new babies. In wedding belles her mum is getting married but is it really that simple? The ask amy green series is a sweet and funny read and i would highly recommend reading it.
